Went one time years ago food was great!! We went again on mother's day and expected a long wait .. they told us 30-45 minute wait on food and it was out 15 minutes later!! Great breakfast
Great little breakfast place with lots of old school charm! Lots of regulars by my observations. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. Good size portions and very good coffee! I especially enjoyed sitting at the counter which not many places have these days. I recommend Anita Marie's!
My Mother and I went to Anita Marie's last week for breakfast and it was wonderful! It's such a cute little diner and the food was amazing. Kathleen, our waitress was amazing. We will definitely be back!
Was in Rockland, visiting friends, so stopped in to Anita Marie's for breakfast, A local place right on the Main Street downtown, as you could see by the crowds waiting to eat, lots of locals eat here, and often. A tight place, a few tables in the front and the back and a very large counter area, I took a seat at the counter, waitress was right there, brought my coffee, and I ordered the eggs Benedict special, which had ham and asparagus on it, and the home fried with grilled onions, It was so very good. The waitress once again was very attentive, with coffee refills, I can see why it was packed. Would be a usual place if lived in the area.
There's not many true breakfast places around anymore. Luckily this place is still around. Sure the place hasn't had a update in the decor in years, and it's not great restaurant quality food. It's an old style diner that sells old style food. Plain and simple.
The food is good for a diner and inexpensive. Every time I've went there the staff is friendly, quick to take my order and they get the food to me quickly with good size portions. Sometimes that's all I'm looking for.
